TUTULI THEATER

22.000 SQ. FT VENUE WITH 750 SEATS

Tutuli auditorium

Intended to complement Scottsdale’s lively music scene, the Civic Center Theater rises dramatically like a jagged gemstone at the center of Libeskind’s master plan in downtown Scottsdale. The 22.000 sq. ft venue is designed for musical performances and large congresses with 750 seats in a sound-proofed underground amphitheater, accessible directly from an underground parking garage, and by pedestrian visitors via its gem-shaped lobby above ground. Clad in Arizona’s magnificent native copper and glass, the gem-like lobby stands as a musical and cultural beacon for the new neighborhood rising around it. An “Arizonan zen garden” surrounds the above-ground edifice with local flora and water, an area for rest and contemplation in the heart of Scottsdale’s busy downtown.
