Atari Hotel Denver

Atari® Hotels – a modern hospitality experience born from an exclusive licensing agreement with Atari®, the iconic entertainment brand behind seminal video game properties such as Asteroids®, Centipede®, and PONG® – will open a pop culture and video game-inspired hotel venue in Denver, Colorado.

Libeskind’s project, inspired by classic Atari video games like Tron and Space Invader, consists of a single curve in plan with three zigzagging planes in section. With 283.000 sq. ft spread over 8 floors, it includes a 193.000 sq. ft, 286-room hotel and 90.000 sq. ft of commercial space and conference venue. Among other features, the building contains a series of immersive audiovisual and interactive experiences for families and Atari enthusiasts, including gaming pods and virtual reality adventures, as well as a series of outdoor terraces with bars & restaurants and an Olympic-sized swimming pool.
