Atari® Hotels – a modern hospitality experience born from an exclusive licensing agreement with Atari®, the iconic entertainment brand behind seminal video game properties such as Asteroids®, Centipede®, and PONG® – will open its first pop culture and video game-inspired hotel venue in Phoenix, Arizona, in 2027, offering guests a one-of-a-kind destination inspired by and built with classic and modern video game culture in mind. The 12-story, 200,000+ square-foot Atari Hotels Phoenix venue will break ground in early 2026, mere minutes from landmarks and tourist destinations, including the Phoenix Convention Center, sports venues, local bars and restaurants, and music venues. As a tribute to the interactive entertainment company Atari®’s 1972 founding date, the hotel will have 19 suites and 72 guest rooms and feature over 70,000 square feet of state-of-the-art amenities for gamers, esports fans, and content creators. Lev Libeskind and his studio, Libeskind Studio Design, crafted the vision for the Atari Hotels Phoenix venue. Libeskind’s building is intended as an homage to Atari’s famous logo, in the same spirit of its groundbreaking game designs.
