Architecture mapping with MABLAB

MABLAB is an art and architecture studio formed by two sisters from Kazakhstan.
Stemming from architectural research in-depth, project Interface, their work explores the themes of architectural space.
MABLAB offers their view on various projects by LSD in a series of speculative architectural drawings – Project Hertz.
Investigating the relationships within the space MABLAB explores dynamics, tension, proximity and interaction between parts of architectural space, reimagining the design in a form of a conceptual space.

MABLAB’s interpretation of the architectural forms enhances the experience and perception of space within the concept of architecture and spatial design through the unique process of experimenting in different mediums.

Using 3D hand sculpting and digital hand drawing techniques, they create unique carved architectural spaces, landscapes, textures and metamorphic forms.
Hertz is a unit of frequency, applied to a measurement of sound, vibration and even radiation. The name for project Hertz was inspired by the things that are beyond of human perception.
