The Gemma collection developed for Moroso contrasts gem-like forms with decoratively covered cushioning. Available in a myriad of colors and patterns, these furniture pieces offer an unusual symmetry of sharp, crystalline geometries, rendered comfortable by the softness of the upholstery, which is inspired by fifteenth-century Italian tapestries and made exclusively from recycled materials. The Gemma sofa and armchair feature injected flame-retardant polyurethane foam over an internal steel frame, as visually weighty and impressive as it is physically light.
